For the Four Cousins innovation range, we developed a visual system that allows new products to express their unique character while remaining unmistakably part of the Four Cousins family.
 
Mimosa and Katemba share a distinctive design language: flowing swirls that represent the intrinsic mix of each drink, paired with flat vector taste and serving elements that bring flavour and occasion to the foreground.
For Mimosa, slices of orange drift through the sparkling swirls – bright, celebratory and refreshing. For Katemba, ice splashes through the red wine and cola mix, capturing the spontaneous freshness of the drink.
Texture overlays introduce a lively sense of bubbles and visual noise, reinforcing the lightly sparkling character of both products.
 
The shrink-sleeve format provides a generous canvas for storytelling – ideal for introducing these less familiar drinks to a market increasingly curious about innovative wine products and new alcoholic alternatives.
 
Subtle packaging details reinforce each product’s personality. Mimosa features a contemporary cork and wire hood, referencing sparkling wine in an authentic, unpretentious way. Katemba carries a screw cap closure, signalling accessibility, spontaneity and everyday enjoyment.
Together these products bring fresh news to the Four Cousins brand, creating a halo effect across the broader portfolio while reinforcing its core ethos: wine made for family, friends and sharing.
